Olympic Medal Results: David Kostelecky Makes it Two Golds for the Czech Republic

Wow. The Czech Republic is off to a really good start in Beijing, eh? It now has a second gold medal courtesy of David Kostelecky in men’s trap shooting. The silver medal went to Pellielo Giovanni of Italy while Alipov Alexey bagged the bronze for the Russian Federation.

David Kostelecky sort of came from out of the blue as you won’t find anything substantial about him in teh internets. Time to make an entry on this guy, you wikipedia editors.

Katerina Emmons is First Olympic Gold Medalist

Eat your hearts out China and the United States. The Czech Republic is leading the gold medal race. At least for now, anyways.
