The Czech Republic is off to a really good start in Beijing, eh? It now has a second gold medal courtesy of David Kostelecky in men’s trap shooting. The silver medal went to Pellielo Giovanni of Italy while Alipov Alexey bagged the bronze for the Russian Federation.

David Kostelecky sort of came from out of the blue as you won’t find anything substantial about him in teh internets. Time to make an entry on this guy, you wikipedia editors.

Anyways, David’s gold medal feat follows the achievement of his countrywoman Katerina Emmons who, as I stated earlier, gained the distinction as the first Olympic gold medalist in Beijing.
