Let’s include Zara Phillips in our list of hot athletes. Actually, I’m tempted to include her in our list of Olympic hotties but she doesn’t belong there yet.

She qualified for the Athens Olympiad but she missed it because her horse was injured. She also qualified for the Beijing Games but she’s, again, not going because her horse sustained another injury. So Zara and her horse are kinda unlucky when it comes to the Olympics.

They have several equestrian titles though — they’re the reigning Eventing World Champion — so they’re still luckier than others. And if you’re a part of the British royalty [Zara as I mentioned in previous posts is the daughter of Princess Anne and the first granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth], you really can’t complain, no?

Anyways, since we won’t be seeing Zara in Beijing, we might as well enjoy her Land Rover commercial where we see her Horsing Around. Hopefully, we will finally see her in action four years from now during the 2012 London Olympics.

Ack. I included British royalty Zara Phillips in our Olympians to Watch but she’s not going to Beijing after all. The problem? Her horse, Toytown, got injured forcing the two to withdraw from the Olympics.

Too bad, no? Zara is pretty popular in this blog because of you guys who are googling for “sexy pics Zara Philips” or “naked/nude Zara Philips”. You, perverts. Have you no respect for them British royals? There’s still hope in the world though because no one’s been googling for naked pics of Toytown.

Anyways, I wouldn’t mind uploading a sexy pic of Zara Phillips but will draw the line when it comes to naked ones.

Model Jordan a.k.a Katie Price a.k.a Katrina Alexandra Infield wants to compete in the Olympics but some meanies are making fun of her Olympic dreams. Back off, people, back off. If she wants to compete in the Olympics then she can compete in the Olympics. Can’t a girl dream big anymore?

Nice hat, Andrew. But do you really abuse your horses with your spiked boots? From the Associated Press:

Three-time Olympic equestrian gold medalist Andrew Hoy appeared at hearing Thursday to answer accusations of horse abuse.

Hoy and Dutch eventer Madeleine Brugman, who he trains, appeared before a three-member panel from the sport’s governing body. Both deny the charges, and the hearing will resume next week.

Brugman is accused of wearing spiked boots when riding Sundancer 6 in the warmup to the show jumping phase of a three-day event at Barroca d’Alva, Portugal, in March.

Hoy has competed for Australia at the last six Olympics. He won team eventing gold at the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Games and won the individual three-day event silver in 2000.

She’s the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and the reigning eventing world champion. She is some kind of a model too.
Zara was recently named to the British equestrian team going to the Beijing Olympic Games.

She will be following the footsteps of her father, Mark Phillips, who won the gold medal at the three-day event in the 1972 Munich Olympics, and her mother, Princess Anne, who competed at the 1976 Montreal Games.
