New Zealand Football Players Do the "Haka"
Embarrassed that female Olympians [Britta Heideman, Natalie Coughlin, Amanda Beard, etc] are outscoring the males in the very important Olympic art of posing naked, this group of New Zealand football players led by Sam Messam decided to equalize things by removing their shirts and performing the traditional Maori “haka” before a crowd of cheering thousands.
Now everything is all right with the world since the nakedness score between male and female Olympians is now even.

Going to Beijing: David Beckham
British football star David Beckham is bound for Beijing during the Olympics but he’s not going there to play football. Rather, he’s there to “star in the closing ceremony” where he will reportedly “play a key role role in the the official handover to Britain for the London 2012 Games”.
It is fitting that Beckham is joining this handover because he’s one of the “ambassadors” for London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympic Games.
